Individualized Homeschooling

Personalized learning designed for each child

Our Homeschooling Support service gives children with diverse learning needs the opportunity to learn in a way that fits who they are. Led by licensed special education teachers, our program provides personalized, individualized homeschooling for students from Kindergarten through High School, including children with autism, ADHD, learning differences, communication needs and other specialized support needs. Rather than asking children to fit into a one-size-fits-all model, we meet each learner where they are and help them grow in fun and engaging ways.

We focus on the whole child, not just one academic subject. Individual learning plans may include reading, writing, math, science, art, communication, social-emotional development and coping, daily living skills such as cooking and greater independence. Lessons can incorporate hands-on activities, movement, games, creative projects, real-world experiences and each child’s interests, helping make learning more engaging, meaningful and accessible.

Our approach is intentionally flexible and low pressure. Children can learn at a pace that supports confidence, curiosity and meaningful progress without being compared to someone else’s timeline. Goals and instruction are adjusted as the child grows, with ongoing observation and progress monitoring along the way. Whether progress means mastering an academic skill, improving emotional regulation or practicing self-advocacy, every step forward matters. We celebrate all meaningful wins and milestones!

Partnerships with parents

Parents and caregivers are active partners throughout the process. We maintain open communication through regular check-ins, parent-teacher conferences and collaborative goal setting so families always understand how their child is progressing. Flexible scheduling and different levels of support allow the program to fit around each family’s needs, with no required minimum or maximum number of hours. Heart & Home Connections also accepts eligible ESA funding to help families access personalized homeschooling support.

  • 1. Vetting & Recruiting

We find educators through trusted networks, community providers and local partnerships, selecting only people with the right combination of heart and skill. We’ve built a strong track record of recruiting qualified, reliable educators who bring real-world experience, professionalism and compassion to every child under their tutelige.

  • 2. We Listen

Every child has different strengths, interests, developmental needs, preferred ways of engaging and pace at which they learn. We take the time to understand your child's educational needs and goals so we truly develop an individualized support plan.

  • 3. Clear Expectations

After we learn more about your child and family's needs, we create a individualized learning plan tailored to support their educational goals.

  • 4. Purposeful Matchmaking

Only after we have a learning plan in place do we match an educator who has the right experience and skills.

  • 5. Peace of Mind

You can confidently step away knowing your child is with someone who supports their emotional and intellectual growth.

  • 6. Respectful, Connected Culture

Our educators and care providers are treated as valuable members of our team. We meet regularly, offer training, create community and share education strategies.

  • 7. Ongoing Support

After homeschooling begins, we check in, adapt if needed and ensure that your individualized learning plan and educator continues to support your child's growth and well-being.

Our process gives children with special needs the opportunity to learn in a setting designed around who they are.

What sets us apart

Our Belief

We believe every child deserves to experience success in learning.

We believe children shouldn't have to fit into a predetermined mold to receive a meaningful education. We meet children where they are, discover how they learn best and build from there.

Our goal isn't simply to help children complete schoolwork. It's to help them become confident, capable, curious learners who feel proud of who they are and what they can accomplish.
